DESCRIPTION:5/29 – The hike is still on! Even if you do not hike\, you are still welcome to come for the picnic at the Alexander’s at noon. See details below. \nMeet at the West Ridge Trailhead of Mount Cardigan at 10 am for a family hike.\nThe trail head address is 658 Cardigan Mountain Rd\, Orange\, NH 03741\n(Dartmouth Students should meet at 9:15 am in front of the Hop for a ride). \nFollowing the hike\, there will be a potluck picnic Lunch at Jim & Deb Alexanders’ home in Canaan. Address information is available in the church directory or by contacting the office. Contact Deb Alexander with any questions. \nDirections to the West Ridge Trailhead\nFrom Hanover\, take Route 120 South to I-89. Take I-89 South to exit 17. Turn right on to Route 4 East.\nFollow Route 4 East through Enfield to Canaan.\nOnce in Canaan\, make a left at a ‘Y’ on to Route 118. Then make a right onto Cardigan Mountain Road. This will lead to the trailhead parking lot. \n*Please note: there is a parade in downtown Canaan from 9-10 am. You may need to take an alternate route to get around the Green. \n
