Never in recent history has our cultural circumstance been more similar to that faced by the early church. While they operated in a pre-Christian world, we are operating in an increasingly post-Christian world. Yet, with great patience and surprising faithfulness, they won the world of their day. This fact alone should make us eager to learn from their example.
Join us as Christ Redeemer Church partners with The Waterman Institute at Dartmouth College for a special seminar that explores the example and teaching (i.e. doctrine) of the early church. What was the secret to their power? What can we learn from their example? How did the challenges of the first few centuries help to shape the way Christians were to think for millennia to come?
Free continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
